KEY POINT

A pallet count does not tell the whole story.

Two batches of the same size may require very different arrangements. An oversized pallet, a heavy load or a product that cannot be stacked does not use a site in the same way as a standard pallet.

In M2Stock search results, select pallets as the unit and enter your quantity. Then review the zones and equipment listed, including racks and loading docks, to prepare a practical discussion.

  • Pallet dimensions, loaded height and weight.
  • Stackability and any product incompatibilities.
  • Number of product references and whether each pallet needs to remain accessible.

KEY POINT

Think about receiving, storage and dispatch.

Reserve stock with few movements does not require the same services as an operation with daily dispatches. Describe your goods flows to understand how the provider can organise them.

Ask how unloading, receiving checks, identification, stock tracking and release are handled. If you need order preparation, make sure its scope is set out in the quote.

  • Number of vehicles and pallets received or dispatched each week.
  • Time slots, notice periods and handling resources required.
  • Stock rotation, batches and expected traceability.

KEY POINT

Confirm capacity with the operator.

Published capacities provide a starting point. Only the operator can confirm whether a zone suits your pallet specifications and will be available on the dates you need.

Compare storage, goods movements, special operations and duration terms separately. M2Stock puts you in contact; you agree the commercial arrangements directly with the professional.

A CLOSER LOOK

Questions that
help you move forward.

Will the advertised capacity necessarily suit my pallets?

No. It must be confirmed against the dimensions, weight, height and storage requirements of your goods. Include these details in your first enquiry.

Can I search for a warehouse with racks?

Yes. The Racks filter narrows the results by that advertised feature. You still need to check the racking type, dimensions and permitted loads with the operator.

Can I arrange extra pallet capacity for a seasonal peak?

Describe both your usual requirement and the maximum expected volume, including the relevant dates. The advertiser can then explain whether additional capacity is possible and on what terms.
